Our Research and Evaluation
A core part of our mission is to produce the evidence desperately needed to show that the impact of investing in children’s surgical infrastructure goes on to transform entire nations and their economies. With the help of our academic partners at the University of California, San Francisco and the University of Oxford, we conduct independent research to evaluate the impact of our work.
A Kids Operating Room shows the real cost, and benefit, of saving a child’s life, of preventing a life of pain and disability, and of transforming children’s futures:
Our unique approach to research
We work with data collectors and local research teams in hospitals and universities to listen to the needs of those living and working in LMICs.
The Unmet Need of Children's Surgery
A look into the unmet need for children's surgical, with a special focus on paediatric surgical infrastructure in LMICs. The Report is available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Publications and Research Papers
We work with academic partners, researchers and surgeons to analyse the data from our Operating Rooms and measure the impact of our work.
